The AARP Foundation to promote their wonderful program Benefits Quick Link.
"Benefits QuickLinks is a part of the AARP Foundation, AARP affiliated
charity" and is designed to assist in finding much needed public
services for those individuals that need help.
For more information on these wonderful resources, please
call the national office at (301) 271-7896 or (301) 898-8023.The whole process takes less than 20 minutes by phone and a program
takes approximately and hour and results will be explained and mailed to you within 24 hours. Since the questionnaire
process does ask for information such as income, assets, expenses etc, we want to remind you that it is anonymous in nature.
Without these questions, it would be impossible to determine what public services/benefits an individual might be eligible
for. In addition, information leaned from this questionnaire, will make it possible for us to demonstrate the need for additional
services. All information received is held in confidence and never given out to others.
GrandFamilies of America is excited to be a part of this new innovative program. We are finding
that approximately 20% of those participating in the screening are eligible for services/benefits that they were not previously
aware entitlement too.
